Just wanted to chim in and intro myself. My name is Matt and this is my 79' CB750K limited edition I picked up a few weeks ago. It's been in dry storage for around 8-9 years (who knows before then) but the collector i bought it from got it running before I bought it. Haven't ridden it yet but it does run. Need to go thru it and replace the tires as I'm sure they have dry rot, along with fluids, etc...Appears to be solid.
This is my 1st street bike and I love these old Honda's. Had dirt bikes and dual sports up till now. Located just 45 min North West of Atlanta. Oh and my first experience with a Honda was an old mr50 which my parents hated to see me ride on the back with a kid in the neighborhood when I was around 10 or so...hence my avatar 8)
Can't seem to upload the pics...maybe this will work

Always nice to see a new face. Bike doesn't look too bad. A little spit and polish and she will be as good as new |

If I knew I wasn't going to die sure why not? 100 maybe. Will this bike even reach that speed? Didn't the 80' and up change to the 85 mph speedo anyway? |

Yep it didn't have any so I got to add some but I'm gonna wait to see how I build it. I want to change the seat and bars for sure. Someone needs to start a signal lights/headlight thread so I can get some ideas. |

I have mini signals on mine, and I like them. I got mine from drag specialties, but if I were buying them again, I would surf ebay. Minis are easy to hook up and one thing you will probably have to get is an electronic flasher. I had to, after I installed the new signals. |
