hi,
I'm andrea from Italy (where andrea is a male name). I for one do miss Ray's helpful posts on the F site, so I'll be adding your forum to my daily browsing list.
Got a red stock 900F2 that runs fine, and a blue 900Fz winter project (well, actually it was last winter project too...) waiting to be reassembled with some fine stuff (flatslide carbs, vipex (fingers crossed here) shocks, cb1300 tank...).
regards,
andrea |

thanks guys,
yes the riviera is a nice place to live and grow a family, and roads round here are ok to ride a bike. It doesn't snow often, but it's already too cold for me to spend more than a couple of hours per week working on my winter project in my small backyard, as I don't have a proper garage yet. An that is half of a reason for me taking so long on this project, the other half being my gross lack of expertising.
Here's me in my house backyard, switching the blue bike on for its very first time on september 2006, after some mechanical (stuck exhaust valve) and electrical (a mess in the wiring harness) homework: (and it really came to life, against all odds... )

Andrea,
Welcome over here. That is the nicest sound in the world when you start your bike for the first time.

hi Dave,
yes indeed it is, I still remember that day pretty vividly. By the way, I owed you an answer about my friend's 750f black bodywork: he's keeping the bike, so it's not for sale right now, but if he changes his mind I'll let you know.
regards,
andrea |

No worries. I have already moved along on that score. I just bought AFE graphics and have a painter lined up for next month to make my very own Euro Black/Silver CB900FB bodywork.
BTW: I played your video over and over again. Never got tired of it.
Here is a video I took with the Cobra Pipe just before taking my bike apart for the winter upgrades and maintenance.
