Thanks for letting me join in the fun !! -- I'd be the new kid on the block for today . I'm 53 and have ridden since I was 9 . Sold all my bikes years ago , but got a wild hair last summer and bought another 81 750c . ( I bought one new in 81 ) It had been 23 years since I sold the first one , but the first time I rode this one it was like I had just come HOME . These bikes are timeless . -- I co-own and operate an auto repair shop here in Arkansas , and have a fair knowledge of bikes as well . I am looking forward to chatting with like minded people who love the old CBs -- Thanks again , Otto

Thanks for the welcome . -- I'm in north central area , near Mountain Home , which is right in the HEART of the Ozarks , and yes it is a beautiful place to ride . You do have to watch out for all of the off-camber turns though . When they built some of the roads I think they just followed a cow along the ridges . --Otto

That's the same road builder as in John's neck of the woods.

Welcome to the site. I spent a lot of time in Arkansas a few years ago as a sales rep. I worked with McClung Ford/Kubota in Mountain Home. I would love to go back on my bike - very scenic area with lots of narrow winding roads. My first trip there was in a rental car and having never driven in the region, I had set a meeting up for 9am, not realizing the terrain and speed challenges. I thought I'd used up all the brakes on the rental trying to get there 30 minutes late! Very Happy
