A new member of the collective here. I just acquired a poor neglected '80 CB900C for a very good price, with the all important title. Now getting into it for rehab, not restore. I have done several similar vintage XJ Yamahas but have not touched this flavor of Honda since the 80's. So far the carburetors are terrible, the float valves were glued in with green former gasoline. We shall see how it goes, having a title makes me not want to part it out.
I completed the signature portion of the new member sign on the first 2 times I registered, today the cyber gods did not accept the info, maybe tomorrow. Again, we shall see if the site accepts my sign on tomorrow.
Does this family of Honda-philes have a person who has a stash or business of supplying hard to get parts? The XJ guys have Chacal at XJ4ever and the Kawasaki folks have Murph at Murphskits. Just wondering.
Thanks folks,
John |

Welcome John. I'm new here as well. I'm also rehab'ing (not restoring) an '81 CB900C. Mine is completely a part right now...including the engine. Assembly should start in about a week. |

Thanks Guys, and thank you @Genesound for the signature fix. Not that I did not want to, just waiting to see if I was going to have to register again tomorrow.

We are still getting some rain, but no records being set Pete. We are going into our "dry" season now,
but when ever a cold front comes through, we generally get some rain. |
Dry season means more riding time . |

Yeah well, dry season is also the cold season . lol |
I know . I don't like to ride when it's below 80° either . |
