Well here's the bike I have only owned it a few months, it's really clean for it's age, lots and lots of miles. I am really enjoying riding it and wrenching on it. The ride is really similiar to a GL1100 that I used to have. Well I hope I can contribute here.

One more of the bike, really clean and stock, (well except for the crappy black touch up paint).I have the Hondaline luggage also. Nothing rusted, stripped, broken, leaking or corroded. I think it was a pretty good find! I still can't believe the pipes aren't blued (they will be)

If I understand things correctly, the blueing is caused by a hot lean condition. If the carbs are properly maintained and cleaned once in a while that should prevent it from happening.
