My first bike was a CB650C SOHC I bought for $700 when I graduated H.S. in '94. I kept it for a couple of years and regretted selling it when I moved on to sportbikes. I found this 80' CB750K in running condition on craigslist for $700 and couldn't pass it up. It's a blast! These older bikes are cool. I'm glad I found this website full of members who love and appreciate these old Hondas. [/img]

I try to keep both wheels on the ground. It's just a small shot on it to be safe...like a 12hp increase. I increased the main jet in the carbs from 102 to 115 to add the extra fuel. I have it rigged to the horn button - it's pretty fun. |

Welcome to DOHC Customs!!!
You put NOS on a K-Model? Awesome!
The bottle on your ZX-14 did not go un-noticed, as if the bike's flux capacitor was not enough.
How much H.P. hits the wheel on the ZX-14? |

I put a full exhaust and a PCIIIUSB on it and on a superflow dyno (not fake numbers like on a dynojet dyno) it made 164 RWHP. With nitrous it made 202. |

My next bike is going to be a ZX-14, I just have to wait a while longer before I can nail it financially.
I have a 2001 Blackbird with an Akrapovic Ti system with a PCIII, only 137 to the wheel. |

I was a little scared to buy a Kawi, but it has been a terrific bike. The looks kind of grow on you. I still like the blackbirds, I remember when it unseated the ZX-11 after all those years of being on top.
The only way to do nitrous right is to take it and have it dyno tuned. If you aren't going for huge increases and keep your A/F ratio right , it does no more harm to your engine than any other performance upgrade. |
