Just want to say hallo to everybody.
I don't have any CB or going to in the next future but yes...I will.
Sooner or later.
That's why I'm collecting infos about everything I can and everywhere possible.
I could just spy around in the forum but I prefere to onnounce myself. I don't like to hide in the dark!
Maybe I will ask something, maybe stupid things (may? will!)
Please, forgive me. I usually learn quickly. For sure I will just read for months.
This is not my language so...forgive also for my mistakes.
I'm from north of Italy, never had a bike or something bigger than 125cc (an '81 Vespa), I'm 47 with 3 childrens. The first is 11 and I will love, in the next two years begin a project on a CB750 with him. I don't know if he will like it but my aim is to show him that a real passion is better than hanging around.
Thank you for being here and let me in.
That's all, folks! |

Welcome to here!
I checked the "Attach signature" box for you so your sig would show. It should always be checked when you post by default.
Enjoy your stay here, there is plenty to read. For new guys, there is the Common Service Manual mentioned in the NMT, that should help you become more familiar with motorcycle mechanics, and Hondas in general.
Your English is fine, and clearly much better than my Italian
Have fun! |

Hi again, folks!
It took 5 years instead of 2 and a change of project but now I am the proud owner of a CB900F (FZ from 1979).
I'm going to road test it tomorrow, if weather will allow, after 2 months of work.
Stay tuned |

Yea they do! He loves it. Helped me a lot.
It takes 8 years more before he can drive it. And 2 different driving licenses. Here in Italy.
License AM when you are 14 years old enables to drive 50cc bikes
A1 at 16. To drive a 125cc
A2 at 18 to drive anything under 22hp
A at 24 to drive any bike.
Hard life. |

Yea I will do. I am worried this is to heavy for him but he is only young not small. He is 15 but 1.86m x 70kg. He could ride a Goldwing if he would. |

Hi Riccardo, let him work out and he will be fine. These are not featherweight bikes! |
