hello, been looking on here for awhile, and I just Got a Free! 1979 cb750f supersport. I am in the process of getting her running now. here is the story on it. The P.O said the bike was in a guys shop all in boxes, who gave it to another guy to put together... who then gave it to the guy I got it from who also put some of it together. Now I have it and is going to finish it. The engine looks like pretty clean bike and everything is where is should be except missing the exhaust. I've done an oil and filter change and I've bleed the brakes just need to install the airbox and a new battery and mount the tank and run the gas lines and I can see if she will go. anything else I should check?

Hi, welcome.. free is usually a good thing! The carbs will need a cleaning if they haven't been done yet.

Read SeanG's new to you bike checklist, lots of good info there.
