clean out the carbs and the gas tank...right off the bat. if the tank is not too rusty inside, a simple "boiling" by a radiator shop should clean it up nicely. the carbs and intake assembly ... |

the floats do go bad n these carbs, but usually not all of them. sometimes you can find whole racks of carbs for these bikes ... |
