Dang I forgot the location.DUH..........

John, if things went according to plan old site would have had minimal interuption, dam hugehost was the biggest PITA.

Mark has admin rights to dam near everything except perhaps a security mod or two that Eric set up. I leave that to Eric. Me being way too busy in the months preceding the move not to mention afterwards did not help.

biggest advantage to the old forum is the database which I have up to about the end of May, 30th I think. This of course includes the 99 uploaded files of manuals, tips tech stuff etc.

Still don't know what happened exactly with hugehost as they were more than willing to take our funds!

This week is busy with chemo trips starting in the morning but hopefully in the evenings I will have time to sort a few things out.

BTW being offline for nearly 2 months sucks!

Cheers
Tim

Yeah, well Dave just now told me he got the location problem solved, and I am ever so grateful, thank you, thank you, thank you Dave. He has made the location entry a mandatory part of registration, which is as it should be. This bullshit of asking somebody in through the door and then clobbering them over the head with a baseball bat has gotten very old. I'd prefer not to have that behavior here, and this is the fix. It is the biggest thread crapper ever.

Damn, it takes away half of my fun when I can't fuck with the newbies that are not slick enough to follow instructions on their own. Razz Razz Razz
Believe me you, if this was the cure for my headaches, I would have walked to San Diego and thanked Dave in person. Rolling Eyes

You too bro... I'm in hell here, we're making progress but it's slow, our equipment locations are spread out over more than 1/2 a mile and now they took our cart! They'll be getting us another one, but this is just the kind of BS we get... /rants off Wink
