Hello everyone!
Joined up while researching some charging issues and potential big bore builds on these bikes as I get this neglected CB750C back on the road. Glad to be around! Already dug into the info for new and existing members and plan post up in the tech section one I'm sure of what charging issues I'm actually wrangling with.
Edit to add: And it will be a big rebuild. There's no such thing as a free bike and this one is testing me. Open circuit rotor, melted stator, reg/rec outputting low rotor exitation voltage, connectors that fall to pieces and turn to dust. This bike proves there's no such thing as a free bike. Any advice on quality brands for the stator? I see Tony's reg/rec recommended and Rick's rewound rotors too, but I haven't found a "these are actually parts worth buying" guide for stators yet. |
