Hi DOHC OWNERS!!!

I PICKED UP A 1980 HONDA CB900C
LOOKED NICE. HAD TO UNSTICK THE BRAKES, CLEAN THE GAS TANK, AND CLEAN THE CARBS, ALSO INSTALLED CBR COILS OLD ONES WERE BAD AND ON AND ON FOR A WEEK! WENT FOR A FIRST RIDE RAN NICE 340 + MILES IT SEAMS TO FIT ME. NOT BAD FOR A 36 YEAR OLD BIKE MADE 42 MPG. IT HAS A 4-1 EXHAUST AND STOCK CARBS, STOCK FILTER, AND 107.5 /68 MAIN JETS
UP FROM THE 105 JET. PULLS GOOD TO RED LINE IN 3 RD DIDENT TRY TO SEE IF IT WOULD PUUL RED LINE IN THE UPPER GEARS BUT RUNS GOOD AT 70MPH HAD 12,700 MILES ON IT i'LL TRY TO GET SOME PICS UP SOON.
IM NOT SURE WHAT THE GMT TIME HERE IS I LIVE IN OREGON.

I have picked up a lot of good tips here for the cb900c
I do all my own work and I'm also a retired mechanic.
I like the Honda custom I wont to add the 82 front brakes
the complete system and add to the fuel capacity its a little
small "remote tank maybe". I live near bend, Oregon gas stations are not always open in the back country.

If you've read and searched, you realize that the 80 forks and the 82 forks are completely different, as is the triple tree angle as well as the 80 is a bottom axle and the 81-82 have a leading axle. It could make changing that stuff and making sure it handles right a tricky situation.
