I was born in Beach Grove which I think it is part of Indianapolis now. I grew up in Carmel. I have been to Speedway.

I have been to Kokomo a lot too. I used to hang out at the Grissom Air Force Base a lot. My mother was dating a man stationed there at the time.

It seems like a long time ago which it is.

Ok, got a PB account for pix, here goes! First is a "before" pic of my $300 bike, got 3 months ago...

Image

Here is an "after" pic with my finished 750.

Image

When I got her, she was drivable but ran very rough. Carbs cleaned and rebuilt, valve job, all new cables, new plugs, oil and filter change, new tires, repaired dented tank, repainted, new pipes, new forks seals, new brakes all the way around with new fluid... replaced rear turn/tail light assembly, replaced starter cover, new battery, prob forgot some... Had good compression and electrical tests (did those first).

Mac 4 to 2 replacing the black 4 to 1 pipes... I hope to find some original 4 to 4 someday...

Mac, 4 to 2... only thing I could find closest to original... They look good, they sound good but I have seen mixed reviews about them... Is that what you put on yours in the first pic? Happy with them if they are Macs?

Thx... Honda similar Blue Blues on other models and years all seemed to drop the colored trim but I liked the gold trim... The lighter blue has a slight sparkle in it, not too much but a subtle amount that dresses it too in the sun... I am very happy with the paint job...
