OK, it's a small town, just east of Grand Rapids.
Last weekend I picked up 3 cb750 basket cases. 2 are K models and have titles. The third I haven't determined what year or model it is yet.
One bike (81) comes with a full vetter touring kit, so I plan on building up a tourer/commuter bike. Maybe do a cafe or something with the other titled frame, then use the third for parts.
I probably wont be able to get to working on them till this winter. I'm finishing up a 75 CB750K right now. I just have to finish up on some of the cosmetics like getting the tins painted. That bike is the first Honda 4 I've done and I really like it. I've also restored a couple Yamaha xs650s.
I've poked around the forum a bit and see a lot of great information |

Welcome to the site grepper ...
I use to cruise that area often as we had a home in NE GR .
Grand River Dr. to Ada and on to Lowell and points beyond .
Seems you'll have enough to get you through the Winter without being too bored . |

The Blue/Purple frame bike is the one w/o the title. The plate is gone, but the stamp on the neck is there. I just need to get a good look at it and look it up.
I got a Clymer manual with the lot. It's nice to see you guys have the Factory Service manual on the site. I like having more than one manual.
I have a lot of reading to do here. The one piece of info I was happy to see is that the engines are all the same. The first bike I want to build is an 81, but the engine for that bike is in pieces and there is damage to the head.
So are the original 4-4 exhaust hard to find? I'd like a set and haven't found any. |

I was afraid of that. Oh well, looks like I'll be buying an other set of MACs.
Same goes for the SOHC, reproduction stock pipes are $1500, and most everything else is rotted out.
My 750 CB750K with MAC turnouts.

The blue frame certainly does look like a CB750SC. It looks like engine is Nighthawk engine as well. You can tell by the two piece alternator cover. It's a shame a PO chopped off the tail. Welcome to the site. |
