Hello all, im new here.... Not sure where to post my question so I will do it with my Hello Message!!
I picked up a 1983 Honda CB1000 Custom for $400. Bike has 45,000 miles on it. Seller thought it had a bad engine, noise ended up being loose bolts on the starter clutch.
I resealed forks, tore it all apart and scrubbed the rust, tune up, all fluids, new tires, adjusted timing chain tensioner s. Bike is beautiful, scary fast compared to my 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500!!!! Runs great, and very quiet.
I was going to sell it, I know blue book for excellent is about 2500, so I was figuring 1500-2000.....
However, (finally my question....)
Is it anyones opinion that this bike may one day be a collector? and/or worth more than it is now?
