It's been quite a while since I have been here and I am pleased to see many of the old avatars, and a few new ones. 
Seems that my head was turned by an old Goldwing and my beautiful CB900 was relegated to being under wraps, lurking and brooding and glaring at me.
Finally, twenty months ago I made up my mind to do something and stripped off all the fairing and lowers from her and then sourced a headlight bucket, mounts and signal lights and then last summer put them on. Got the thing started in August for the first time since about 2009 and was very pleased that she ran as well as she did.
Since then I have cleaned the carbs, swapped the tank and side covers for the blues from my parts bike, added a Slipstreamer windshield and started riding her again.
I am amazed at what she puts out. What a powerful and fun motorcycle. A very different ride that the Wing. Now I have two running, registered bikes and a new shop soon to have a cement floor and a bike hoist. Life is good. |

Thanx guys, nice to be remembered.
Say Gene, I recall you working on a world class build of a CB900. Such detail and quality like no other. What was the out come of that project? |
