Hi, everyone! I'm glad to have found this site. I own two(2) 1982 CB 750 SC NightHawks. One is running and the other is under construction, which will be given to my son due to his "sweat equity". The running one is in "C" trim and I have her running beautifully. She needs side covers, fork seals, and paint on the tank to be "complete".
I'm no stranger to turning wrenches on anything that fires a piston and turns a crank...been doing it for years. I pretty much love anything Honda/Acura. I worked for a long time at the local Honda/Acura car dealerships. I also worked for Black Widow Cycles where we specialized in older Japanese motorcycles & 4 wheelers, with a few European makes thrown in here and there.
My son, who is now an adult, was raised around the dealership shop and worked for a while with us at Black Widow. We love the '79-'83 DOHC's and we have a few friends here locally that we hang out with that ride 'em, too. Matter of fact me & my son built their bikes!
I've been watching & surfing the site a bit and appreciate all the knowledge and comradery I've seen so far. I look forward to learning and sharing my own experiences, too.
And by the way...We love FSU! GO 'NOLES!!!

Welcome to here, krisj. I think you might just be our first Nighthawk owner.

Please make the pics in your signature smaller though.

Sorry about the enormous pic size. I think I'm in spec now.

On the Nighthawk issue...I have a decent Nighthawk tailsection and seat pan with original foam cushion, but missing the plastic/fiberglass trim that fits between them. I also have an '82 Nighthawk tank that will be completely stripped, painted, and red coat sealed. All this stuff will go on the #2 bike.
I'm going to leave the #1 bike in C trim, it's kind of grown on me. I need a rear grab rail, though.
