Glenn moved the site again? That is amazing, maybe he is doing the right thing finally?

F site has worked every time I've tried it, but I was not on this morning.

It has been slow sometimes though.

I like the response of the VJMOG server and software. It's always snappy as hell. Twisted Evil

It's basically the same as we have but on a high-priced server dkrager built IIRC.

The F site issues were due to Glenn testing more ideas on site performance. Sometimes there's success, sometimes not, like with my recent Profile mistakes. Thing is, he's working on it quite a bit.

VJMOG? That's what I was talking about. Pops up so fast it can scare you.

It does help that we are only 150 miles away from Dave K. and his server.

Actually, linear mileage has nothing to do with it, but I do like Dave K's management style and his success rate... Wink

It is not supposed to have any effect on it but, look at how bad our connection is to Glenn's server and then look at Dave's that is 3000 miles closer.
I say it does matter because of the route that the signal has to take.
A shorter and direct path takes less time to travel no matter how you look at it.

You enjoy a west coast connection like you enjoy a west coast complexion. Get over it.

How you know where Glenn's server is? It's on a Yahoo server farm and as such could be in one of several physical locations. It's not propped up under the sink in his kitchen.... Laughing

If the IP search is correct, the server is in the Seattle area. Of course, it didn't say if it was inside or outside.... Laughing

Nothing is on one place anymore. For instance Google is building a new server farm and/or help center (can't remember which) just up the road out here.

The world is getting too big for it self. Shocked
I wish I was allowed over on that site if it worked well Rolling Eyes
Now I am glad that I am not because I would just get frustrated and say something stupid again. Confused
