Just to recap for all the new folks:
OK, here's the latest:
We're moving to the new server this Sunday, March 30. At about noon eastern time, I'll be locking the forum so you have something to say, get up early. Hopefully all will go well and we'll be unlocked and running by the evening. Many grateful thanks to Glenn since he's doing all the actual work.
IMPORTANT
If there should be any problems or need to communicate during this time, instead of burdening vjmog, go to:
http://forumforfree.com/cb900c.html
EDIT: Use this account to post over there:
username: Guest
password: password
That's right, the old dot com forums still exist, though in somewhat skeletal form. I've created a section called "What's happening with CB900C.NET?" at the top. You do NOT have to join to post and or read anything in that section. Most posts will simply be from 'Guest' so please identify yourself if you want a direct answer. I don't mind at all if we co-mingle technical questions with forum questions and just general nonsense in there. Let's just all go to the same place if needed and sort it out from there.
Finally, if all else fails and you're found shaking on the street jonesing for a forum fix, have your medical professional, significant other, physical therapist, horticulturalist, interior decorator, Native American dream guide and/or Secret Santa contact me at: admin@cb750c.com. |

Yep. All done.
One issue is several of our linked files had to have their names changed since the new host doesn't allow spaces. So, some of the links in some messages may not work until I edit them. All three manuals should work now and I'm working on others.....
PLEASE let me know if you run into any problems in our new home. Always a bug or two to chase.... |

Good the hear from Texas! I was beginning to wonder. Apparently, the DNS updates haven't hit Canada yet. Smokes is still lingering on the 'emergency' site...... |

Nope. Glenn did all the thinking and hard work, including a bunch of testing earlier in the week. He's mainly responsible and it's very much appreciated.... |

I'm keeping him company over on the old 'emergency' site until we bring all the Canadians home. I miss them all, the crazy buggers..... |

Wow, no Canadian's! No wonder it's so quiet. It's like Cape Cod in the Spring before they all come down here yelling at each other in French, smokin cigarettes, in thier speedo's. |

This is tragic. I can't access the forums from work anymore under the new name. That's where I'm on them the most haha. Bastards! |

Be patient and their DNS will probably catch up. Of course, they could have forum traffic filtered and then.... |

Some forums are filtered yes. I managed to get in and tweak the settings a bit to get around it in some areas, but I work at Boeing and they have REALLY tight security. |

I tried to get on the site most of the day on Sunday and tried Monday morning and I couldn't get in, got to work 20 minutes later and I can access it from work?
I was beginning to think the yanks were conspiring against the Canadians! |

They are and as punishment, we're going to talk stupid and work hockey into every conversation. Ah, actually, I guess things from us will remain the same as always. |

t seems to depend on how your ISP processes DNS updates. It's possible you'll get home and still not get on but just be patient as each ISP catches up.

Troops are at the border. Just proved too hard to get that middle eastern oil so we're coming to get yours... |
