nice bike, too bad honda stopped building those cb 1000 customs

The reason we ask that pics not be too big is to keep from scrolling right/left/right/left just to read a message. However, there is a place for large pics to show details, especially when you're considering buying. The best way to post the biggies, IMO, is to start a new thread with something like, "Caution, Large Pics" in the Subject.

However, the bike is incredibly clean for having >140K miles. Resale value - if I go through with this transaction I plan to keep it, so I'm not too worried about the financial value. I want a bike that I can ride and be proud of. The fact that Honda only made this bike for one year makes it that much more attractive.

I understand about the pic size...it just took me a couple tries to figure out photobucket.

I wish I knew someone local that really knows his stuff that could look at it for me. Any suggestions?

BTW, most Honda shops have "kids" working there now and have never even seen one of these. They think loose cam chain noise means the engine is shot! Shocked
