New member here. I am a proud member of the cb900cb1000 custom club. I read the threads here and just wanted to say I have an 81 cb900c with 16786 on the clock. I bought it from an old co-worker a year ago. He couldn't ride any more for health reasons. The bike sat in his barn for six years until I bought it last year for $200. I had to clean the carbs and buy a new battery. Not to mention hours upon hours of cleaning. I had a lot of help from my dad on the cleaning. I'll post some pics of it soon. I'm in the process of installing a windjammer now. |

I have a few pics posted already. I need to figure out how to make them a bit smaller. 200 bucks for a 900 custom makes it easy to make repairs. The only thing I really have to do to the bike now is sync the carbs, get the tank cleaned, remove the dent in the tank that I, yes, that I put there, and then line the tank. Also, I need the fairing painted to match the rest of the bike.
